C. RIGGS MATTHEWS, BS

Welcome!

Hiking

I am a BS Psychology/Biology student with a passion for making connections between stress and the work environment. Today’s worker is no longer paid for their ability to physically lift, move, pull, or push. Instead, they are hired to think, adapt, and problem solve. Along with this new phase of worker is a call for leadership to understand the psychology of their workers. Greater understanding of cognition, perception, and motivation are keys to leadership success in the modern day. This “teach a man to think,” rather than “give a man a thought” philosophy has inspired my passion for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, so that I can enable leadership to evolve in the thinking age.
